Venice

Late July/early August 2007

We took the train to Venice from Rome, and immediately took a water bus (vaporetto) to where we would be staying.

One of the three bridges that cross the Grand Canal.

There were giant pink crocodiles attached to several of the buildings along the Grand Canal. I'm still not 100% sure what they were for, but Google says they may be related to the Venice Biennale, which is an art show.

More artwork, this time in the form of a giant skull. This was very close to our waterbus stop.

Taylor on one of the many little bridges.

We thought about doing a "Taylor and the dogs of Italy" photo essay, because every dog needed petting.

Taylor chasing pigeons in San Marco plaza. This was the second place we went in Venice. (After eating lunch in a restaurant near our apartment while it rained.)
