This is the hole that was left after we took the light down. The light weighed at least fifty pounds. While we were trying to unscrew the molly bolts from the light the whole thing fell from the ceiling and created the hole you see. It's a good thing we had a ladder directly under the light as we were removing it. When it fell from the ceiling it hit Jackie in the head and then landed on the ladder. We were then able to finish removing the wiring from the light fixture. Jackie was fine though she had a big knot on her head. That hole goes directly into the attic. Every time we closed the kitchen door more insulation would fall from the hole.
